Black Star, from the anime and manga Soul Eater, isn't your typical weapon. He's a weapon master, a skilled fighter, and a ridiculously confident (some might say arrogant) Kishin candidate. But beyond the flashy attacks and over-the-top personality lies a character arc far more nuanced than his initial presentation suggests.

A Weapon with a Star Complex

Black Star's relationship with Tsubaki Nakatsukasa, his meister and partner, is a key aspect of his development.
